A Taste of the String Bass
Enjoy a rare opportunity to be on stage! That’s where the audience will be seated for a performance of blues, jazz, classical and original compositions by students and professional bassists. The concert comes at the conclusion of an intensive one-week workshop featuring some of the top young bassists in the country. This is the third year the group has performed for the Arts Fest and each year they end with a classic – we’re talking “The Theme to Barney Miller” and “Low Rider” – not Beethoven or Bach. What will they choose this year?
